Regence Blue Shield of Washington

Regence BlueShield is a leading choice for Medigap plans in Washington. Regence's parent company, The Regence Group, is licensed in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Utah and western Washington state. Regence BlueShield serves western Washington, except Clark County, which is covered by Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon. Regence is a well-known brand in Washington state and has provided consistent coverage to many Washington individuals and employers.

Four Medigap Plans Offered

Regence carries Plan A at a Surepay rate of $120 per month from your bank account, a paper bill rate of $122 per month, a three-month rate of $362, a six-month rate of $722 and an annual rate of $1,442. You will find Plan C available for $169 a month with automatic billing, $171 a month with paper billing, $509 quarterly, $1,016 semi-annually and $2,030 on a yearly basis. Medigap Plan F sells for a monthly auto-withdrawl rate of $170 or pay-by-mail rate of $172. You can also get Plan F for $512 on a quarterly cycle, $1,022 every six months or $2,042 a year. Medicare Supplement Plan K is priced at $91 a month (Surepay), $93 month (paper bill), $275 a month each quarter, $548 each half-yearly cycle or $1,094 if prepaid for a year.

The same plans are available to residents of Clark County through BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, but at higher prices. Surepay monthly bank account withdrawl rates are $136 for Plan A, $191 for Plan C, $192 for Plan F and $103 for Plan K. Similar to the price structure in the rest of Washington state, you pay $2 more per month for paper billing, but can save $10-$20 paying in six-month installments or save $22 paying a year in advance.
