Plan N Medicare Supplement Rates in Washington

Plan N is a welcome new addition to Medicare supplement plans in Washington state. It combines the comprehensive type of coverage offered by Plans D and F with lower premiums and out-of-pocket costs. Beneficiaries are responsible for a $20 copay for doctor’s visits and a $60 copay for emergency room visits. As a result, premiums are lowered by about 30 to 33 percent from the Plan D and F premiums. Under Plan N, the Part A deductible is 100 percent covered, along with Part A inpatient hospital coinsurance and copays, with the 365-day coverage extension of hospital care after the Part A limits have been reached. If you go to the emergency room and are admitted to the hospital, the $60 copay for the emergency room visit is waived. Part B coinsurance, the first three pints of bloodwork each year, foreign travel emergency care and hospice care are also covered under Plan N. The Medicare Part B deductible is not covered.

Medigap Plan N Rates in Washington

Three insurance companies currently offer Plan N in Washington state. UnitedHealthcare makes Plan N available for a monthly premium of $105.75, while Premera Blue Cross offers it for a Monthly AFT Rate of $130 and Woodmen of the World offers it for a Monthly Bank Rate of $142.96.
